Layerless Fluidic Rapid Prototyper (2018)

This project is a proof of concept that pneumatically controlled, true 3-dimensional material suspension in a gel medium to quickly produce a draft quality model.

While I thought I could make something like this long before the planning started, the knowledge, technique, and even my interest in building this contraption were mostly acquired through the internet forums and visual images provided by people of similar interests and prior arts. This realization made me wonder how much information one can extract from a video presentation of a project, (in this case, MIT-style liquid 3d printing from Self-Assembly Lab) while incorporating "my experience" into the device, thus bringing a different quality to the printed model.
